It is a great thing to be able to podcast with a good friend and talk about things you love. It is even greater when you find others in the world and they share in that love of things you do and even enjoy that podcast show you do. But what you are about to read is one of the greatest things I have gotten out of doing a podcast. It’s one thing to have someone say “good show” or “nice team idea” but to take the time out of someones day to write a story based on the fluff and flavor of ideas in your head is so amazing. Help a Blood Bowl Brother out…
Most of you are familiar with Blood Bowl tournaments(I would hope all of you, but I don’t want to assume). If you know about tournaments, you probably know about the Majors: Chaos Cup, Dungeonbowl, the Blood Bowl(NAF Championship) and the Spike! Magazine tournament.
These are THE Blood Bowel events of the year. They’re like the Grand Slam or the Triple Crown or other sports analogies that fit here. These are more than just another tournament, these are events that go back into the actual fluff of the game.
OK, why am I bringing this up?
One of them needs some help, and I think we should all chip in. Continue reading
Blatant attempt at winning a contest! Sorta…
So, first off… I’d like to say we have a new episode up, but apparently it’s taking a bit of time since it’s super long(3hrs!) and Scott’s been having technical issues. That’s the bad news.
The GOOD news is that it allows me to talk a little about something else. Blood Bowl Blogs, specifically Tristan’s great blog GWpertinent. Continue reading
The Del Zine Cup
On Both Down Episode 3 we talked about the Orclahoma Bowl and during the awards segment we mentioned the Del Zine Cup. I am here today to reveal the untold origin of this great award. Before I start I must ask this: Is it better to be 3rd place or the Del ZIne Cup winner? Personally, I would rather hoist a trophy named the Del Zine Cup, since it obviously named after me. Before I tell the true origin of the Del Zine cup, let me give you a little backstory. Continue reading

Merry Christmas from Scott Prime
So here I type to you, our listeners early Christmas morning. My finger tips still sore from putting together a Lego Winter Village early Friday morning in preparation for when “Santa Claus” comes tonight. Am I the only one that is amazed at how the people at Lego put so many cool things together with the smallest of pieces? Am I the only one that gets ticked off that the box says 687 pieces yet when I am done there is 20+ tiny pieces left over? Makes me wonder are they giving me these pieces because my kids could lose something or are they trying to make the set seem bigger than it really is. Oh well, its Christmas and the oldest child will be happy. Continue reading
Welcome to Both Down!
Look for the first Both Down podcast to be out and ready for your blood hungry ears before Christmas! This site is under construction and should be improving over the next couple of weeks as we add more and more to it!
In the meantime head over to the Orclahoma Bowl and register for the biggest Blood Bowl event in the history of Oklahoma er… I mean in the history of Orclahoma. See you on the pitch… or at McDonalds getting a tasty McRib!
P.S. If you ever see Jonny P or Xtreme out at an event remember to punch them in the nuts and yell BOTH DOWN!!!
